Our foundation is a registered non profit organisation, committed to improving the standard of living for families in our community.

We care about all families especially those just outside the Government assistance threshold who are finding it hard to get ahead of the soaring cost of living.
​
We are a volunteer organisation partnering with schools based in Hastings serving families in our local community.
​
We have a qualified chef and operate out of a commercial kitchen which complies to all health and safety regulations.

WE PROVIDE NUTRITIOUS HOT MEALS FOR FAMILIES
Ready cooked stress free family meals
Every week we cook nutritious hot meals for our local community for a cash donation.

Each week our meals are packed into our Ascende Food Truck or Van.
We set up in one of 4 locations in our community, weekly on a Thursday afternoon 4:30pm - 5:30pm.
​
We also partner with Age Concern Hastings and provide 50 meals every week for a community dinner.
​
This is a Cash donation-based project which means instead of paying $16 + you only need to give a koha/donation for each meal.
​
"We know the first step is asking for help and we know this can be hard."
By families contributing a koha for the meals we save an average family of 4 = $59 per week and take the stress out of one meal for the family per week.

We ensure respect and dignity for the families is upheld.

To feed our community
Currently it is costing us $3000 per week to provide 200 free meals. $15 per meal. $150,000 per annum.
In our first year 10,000 people will be given free nutritious meals.​
We produce and distribute each week as funding allows.​

Our vision is to increase the number of meals across the region as funding allows to reach more families.
